What year did you start CrossFitting?
2010
Why did you get into Fitness?
I LOVE moving, it's actually quite rare to ever see me standing still! I've been competitive in sports from a very young age and it's encompassed things like Equestrian, rock climbing, snow boarding, mountain biking and even tree climbing! My biggest issue is that I get bored VERY quickly.. until CrossFit came along. 2010 to... My plan is to be still training at 80!
What inspired you to become a coach?
Helping people is what I do. 7 years as Medical Radiation Therapist has proven invaluable as the owner of Reebok CrossFit 09. I am so lucky to be surrounded by incredible people every single day. Our community here is so special, we are from all walks of life and yet we all have a common goal, to be the best versions of ourselves so we can live the lives we dream of.
What is your favourite CrossFit movement?
An Olympic Lifting movement called the Snatch
What is your favourite outside activity?
Current most favourite is Mountain biking and anything to do with the beach!
How do you like your coffee?
Double shot Espresso

Why did you get into Fitness?
Always been active and been apart of different sports all my life, gymnastics, dance, horseback riding and of course all the other school sports, so when I tried CrossFit (recommended by my brother) it just stuck!
What inspired you to become a coach?
I love helping people become the most fit they have ever become. Being a part of their journey to live long and healthy lives is an amazing feeling. When I started CrossFit my coaches help me become the best version of myself and I wanted to do that for others too.
What is your favourite CrossFit movement?
Handstand walking
What is your favourite outside activity?
I don't get to do it too often but it's Horseback riding
How do you like your coffee?
Flat white when ordering from cafe and from home with the perfect mixture of almond, coconut and oat milk

Why did you get into Fitness?
I've always loved to move! It feels so empowering! It seems to me essential to care for your body.
What inspired you to become a coach?
The art of health is so valuable and there's not enough people pursuing it, I feel as though I'm just doing my bit to help people life their best lives.
What is your favourite CrossFit movement?
Power clean!
What is your favourite outside activity?
Coast line exploring
How do you like your coffee?
Depends on the mood. It will be one of: Americano, Almond Milk Flatwhite, or an iced long black.

What year did you start CrossFitting?
2011
Why did you get into Fitness?
I feel great when I'm moving, since a teenager I've been good at anything endurance, moving fast under my own steam really keeps me happy and motivated.
What inspired you to become a coach?
I love seeing people accomplish what they never thought they were capable of, we have the most amazing community at 09 and to be part of the process that allows that community to achieve their goals is a real privilege.
What is your favourite CrossFit movement?
You just can't beat a smiling heavy farmers walk!
What is your favourite outside activity?
I'm a lover of anything outdoors, but especially running.
My dream is to be like Forrest Gump and one day for no particular reason to go for a run, and then just keeping running the length of NZ.
How do you like your coffee?
I have never been a coffee drinker, however I do love a cup of tea!

The training we do here at RCF09 has changed my entire life, I have never felt this strong, this powerful and this capable of crushing anything life throws at me.
